Slate Live menu boards
Menu boards on your TVs, driven by the product list in NeoPOS, so a screen can never say one price while the till says another.
Slate puts your menu on any TV in the venue that can open a web page. The menu is built from the product list in NeoPOS, so when you change a price at the till, the screen follows. There is no second place where the price can be wrong.
How it works
- Menus and sections you arrange. Lunch on one screen, drinks on another, a specials board by the door. Each menu has sections, and you drag items into the order you want.
- Prices come from the POS. Names and prices are read from NeoPOS. You choose what shows; the till decides what it costs.
- Sold out means sold out. Mark an item off and it changes on the board straight away, before a customer orders it.
- Any TV. A screen with a browser, or a small stick behind one, pointed at the board’s address. No special hardware to buy or keep alive.
When the internet drops
The board freezes on the last good menu. It never shows a blank screen, an error page or half a menu. When the network comes back, or the TV wakes up in the morning, it catches up on its own.
